The bearing of the God of commerce, roads and thieves, often honors and protects commercial buildings of the early 1900s in the downtowns of the Bay Area. Here Mercury stands tall at the entrance to  the Hunter Dulin Building in downtown San Francisco. The building was built in 1926 and is included in the National Register of Historic Places (#97000348).
